The Santa Cruz Fire Department and UC Santa Cruz Fire Department is hosting a series of county-wide mutual aid drills on campus the week of August 19. These drills will provide an opportunity to review low angle rope rescue and multiple victim skills. Each drill will have 5-6 engines from a variety of Santa Cruz County fire agencies.

There will be three drill sessions on August 20 and two each day on August 22 and 24. One of the sessions on August 20 will take place in the evening to allow agencies with volunteer staff to participate.

Emergency and personal vehicles will be staged in the Granary parking lot at the base of campus. The drill site will be the Pogonip overlook on Coolidge Drive and on Spring Trail in Pogonip.
